Offenburg – „City of wine“

Located in the heart of the Ortenau wine-growing region, Offenburg is one of the largest viticultural communities in Baden-Wurttemberg and is famous for its excellent vineyards. 230 hectares of vineyards grace the surrounding area, which is dotted with picturesque winemaking villages. Along the Baden wine route, regional wine growers invite you to sample the finest Baden wines.

The annual wine markets and festivals are part of a long viticultural tradition in Offenburg. Baden’s largest wine market, known since 1995 as the ‘Baden Wine Fair’, has been held in the region for 130 years.
